The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) have created the state’s largest facility dedicated to the study of Arkansas history and culture in the Arkansas Studies Institute building.
Located on the Main Library campus in the River Market District, the combined collection includes more than 10 million archival items from the UALR Center for Arkansas History and Culture and the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, a CALS department.
