During the 1930s, she excelled in children\u2019s literature. Many considered her children\u2019s book <em>Robin on the Mountain<\/em>, published in 1934, a classic in this genre. Fletcher\u2019s reputation and works did not overshadow Simon\u2019s literary career. A revised version of this poem appeared in Fletcher\u2019s collection of poetry entitled <em>South Star<\/em>, published in 1941.
