About the Exhibit

This exhibit features digitized photographs, documents, and audiovisual material from collections at the Center of Arkansas History and Culture, CALS Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, and the Central High School National Historic Site. Commentary from scholars around the country provides context to the materials, and a timeline, media gallery, and education section often further access and content. The exhibit is part of a Digitizing Hidden Collections and Archives grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources. The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
