Day at Dunbar is a film produced by the Dunbar High School to capture the daily life of students at the school. It includes scenes of administrative staff and teachers, various classrooms, and extracurricular activities.
In Their Own Words: Oral Histories
Scholars and researchers have used oral histories as a method to capture the memory of whole communities. Dating back to the 1970s, these audio recordings include former students of all-African-American schools, participants in the Civil Rights Movement, and others with stories to tell.
