This exhibit features digitized photographs, documents, and audiovisual material from collections at the Center of Arkansas History and Culture, CALS Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, and the Central High School National Historic Site. Commentary from scholars around the country provides context to the materials, and a timeline, media gallery, and education section often further access and content. The exhibit is part of a Digitizing Hidden Collections and Archives grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources. The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.<\/p>\n
The UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture<\/a>, located in Little Rock’s River Market District, offers a collection of historic materials related to Arkansas history. In addition to the Little Rock School Crisis Collection, the Elizabeth Huckaby Papers, the National Dunbar Historic Collections, and the Bishop Robert R Brown Letters, the Center’s collections cover politicians, civil rights, the built environment, businesses, non-profit organizations, families, and so on.<\/p>\n The UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture collects, keeps safe, and makes available Arkansas history that connects people to each other and their shared experiences.<\/p>\n The collections are available at the Bobby L.
