Roberts Library, the state&#8217;s largest facility dedicated to the study of Arkansas history and culture. Through its connection to the university, the archives benefit from the rigorous scholarship of our faculty, creating a valuable resource for students, researchers, stakeholders, and the general public.<\/p>\n<p>The Bobby L. Roberts Library represents a partnership between the <a title=\"Central Arkansas Library System\" href=\"http:\/\/cals.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Central Arkansas Library System<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a title=\"University of Arkansas at Little Rock\" href=\"http:\/\/ualr.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Arkansas at Little Rock<\/a>, through which the two institutions have made more than 10 million documents and photographs on Arkansas history available for public use.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tMission\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>The UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture collects, keeps safe, and makes available Arkansas history that connects people to each other and their shared experiences.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tAbout the Project\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>&#8220;Confronting the Crisis: The Legacy of Central High School&#8221; started from the UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture (CAHC)&#8217;s participation in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/acansa.org\/lrch-60th-anniversary\/\">Central High Integration 60<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Anniversary Committee<\/a>, which includes figures and organizations from around the state. Materials in the media galleries and oral histories come from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/chsc\/index.htm\">Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site<\/a>, and collections from the CAHC, such as the Elizabeth Huckaby Papers (UALR.MS.0118) and the Bishop Robert R.
