In this color photograph, the large white jet of water from the Old Faithful geyser fills the middle of the image. The land around the geyser looks like smooth rock with water in the middle surrounding the geyser. There are pine trees around the edges of the rock. The silhouettes of 5 people are to the right of the geyser. The people look very small, only about 1/20th the size of the geyser’s upward stream of water and steam.
