{"id":62,"date":"2023-05-31T15:41:04","date_gmt":"2023-05-31T15:41:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ualrexhibits.org\/rockefeller2\/?page_id=62"},"modified":"2024-12-04T15:42:34","modified_gmt":"2024-12-04T15:42:34","slug":"research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ualrexhibits.org\/rockefeller\/research\/","title":{"rendered":"Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>\n\t\tResources\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Winthrop Rockefeller was committed to educating Arkansas&#8217;s children.\u00a0 In honor of his centennial, a number of educational materials and student projects took place.\u00a0 This section provides access to resources for teachers to use and examples of student projects.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tTeacher Resources\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>The following resources are available for teachers to use in their classes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ualrexhibits.org\/rockefeller\/files\/2024\/12\/Updated-WR-Bibliography-2007.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bibliography<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ualrexhibits.org\/rockefeller\/files\/2024\/12\/Rockefeller_wr50-teacher-guide.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Teachers Guide with Timeline<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a title=\"Arkansas History Hub\" href=\"http:\/\/www.arhistoryhub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arkansas History Hub<\/a> is also a great resource for teachers.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tStudent Projects\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>The <em>Rockefeller Elementary Celebrates Governor Rockefeller<\/em> exhibition is a collaboration between the teachers and students of Little Rock School District&#8217;s Rockefeller Elementary and the Public History Program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. This project was funded in part by the Arkansas Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities.<\/p>\n<p>In <em>Rockefeller Elementary Celebrates Governor Rockefeller<\/em>, student-created text and artwork mix with historic photographs from the UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture to narrate the life and legacy of Winthrop Rockefeller (1912-1973), former Arkansas Governor, businessman, and philanthropist.
