According to Simon, many have asked the question, &#8220;Why would a man of Albert Schweitzer&#8217;s genius leave Europe and live in the remote jungles of Africa?&#8221; The answer to this question is obvious to Simon as she draws the analogy of Schweitzer to Jesus Christ: after reading the Bible, no one would question Jesus&#8217; mission to serve the poor.
