The Center for Arkansas History and Culture (CAHC) at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock strives to be a unique and reliable resource that explores and promotes Arkansas’ rich history through identifying, collecting, and preserving Arkansas records that are of enduring value to the state.

The UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture collects, keeps safe, and makes available Arkansas history that connects people to each other and their shared experience.
About the Exhibit
Victor “Vic” Frederick Snyder is a Vietnam veteran, family physician, and lawyer who served as an Arkansas state senator from 1991 to 1996 and as a U.S. Representative for Arkansas' Second Congressional District from 1997 to 2011.
“Victor F. Snyder: The Courage and Commitment for Congress" highlights Snyder's life and career in political office, including his politics, his legislative efforts, and his service to the constituents of Central Arkansas. The exhibit also features curriculum guides for educators to use in the classroom.
